 Aladdin Wealth is an investment management platform that enables wealth managers to accelerate growth across client segments, drive advisor efficiency & scale through connected digital systems, and deepen relationships by surfacing business opportunities to personalize client portfolios. Aladdin is uniquely positioned to address the industry’s risk management, portfolio construction and financial technology demands. The Aladdin Wealth team leverages the same risk analytics used by Institutional investors to equip wealth management clients with business & risk management, and portfolio construction, analytics & proposal generation capabilities. Aladdin Wealth is partnering with wealth managers to enhance their value proposition to their end clients, create rigor and scale in their investment process, and grow their businesses in a differentiated way.  

 

Position Description:

 We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Implementation Build Manager to join Aladdin Wealth. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of technical implementations, overseeing a team of implementation execution specialists, and ensuring the successful deployment of our innovative wealth management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, with the ability to clearly articulate and simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences. You will lead and manage integrations, provide expert-level technical support, and collaborate closely with both internal teams and clients to ensure seamless deployments. Your leadership will drive the successful delivery of Aladdin Wealth Tech modules and solutions, ensuring they are configured to meet client-specific requirements while adhering to best practices. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technical leader who excels in client-facing roles, thrives on managing high-performing teams, and is passionate about solving intricate technical challenges to deliver measurable, impactful results.

This role is based in Singapore. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Implementation Build Management team across the APAC region, providing strategic oversight and guidance for all regional implementations in close collaboration with Implementation Project Managers and local execution teams.

  • As senior member of the broader APAC team, contribute to the overall commercial, product and talent strategy in the region.

  • Establish strong personal relationships with senior clients and represent all of BlackRock in a compelling fashion.

  • Develop a strong working relationship with clients to support implementation and adoption of tools, including developing creative solutions to drive adoption or scale operational processes.

  • Liaise with the client's key stakeholders and provide strong leadership for the Aladdin relationship.

  • Develop strong relationships with all groups within Aladdin and BlackRock to ensure an excellent client experience and help drive the product roadmap, as necessary.

  • Leadership and management skills to be the cultural flag-bearer with the ability to inspire people.

  • Able to coach up ‘star’ mid-level managers on his / her team to higher levels of client delivery and execution, i.e. lead by example: show people how to build and maintain relationships/skillsets, then drive them to do it

  • Able to re-invent his / her team over time, via great new hires or upgrading existing talent.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

 

The ideal candidate will possess some combination of all the following:

  • Background in Wealth market and/or technology consulting is a plus

  • Understands business, financial, analytical, and technical terminology in the Wealth market. Keeps abreast of developments in own field and considers how this knowledge can be applied

  • Strong background in risk modeling and technical architecture design.

  • Uncovers and meets the need of external clients; builds strong working partnerships with clients and internal organization; acts with urgency and works hard to address client demands; effectively manages clients’ expectations and delivers value-added service

  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading strategic initiatives within a global organization

  • Leads individuals and teams to achieve objectives and drive results; inspires and motivates people to the highest levels of performance.  Is accessible, engaged and a positive force for change. Provides timely and actionable feedback

  • Strong project management and coordination skills

  • Strong problem solving/analytical thinking

  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients. Capable of connecting with multiple audiences and articulating lines of reasoning

  • Technologically “aware” to be conversant with clients and visualize opportunities. Technology knowledge is important, but a deep programing skillset is not necessary. 

  • Ability to operate as a self-starter, operating with limited guidance in a highly matrixed organization

  • Enjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity environment; able to manage multiple priorities
