This role sits within Preqin, a part of BlackRock. Preqin plays a key role in how we are revolutionizing private markets data and technology for clients globally, complementing our existing Aladdin technology platform to deliver investment solutions for the whole portfolio.

The Associate, Commercial Marketing, will join our Asia-Pacific Aladdin Revenue Marketing team. This individual will play a key role in implementing the marketing team’s strategic vision and localized strategies. The individual will help increase brand awareness of our products, deepen client engagement, and drive commercial outcomes across key APAC markets with a special focus on Korea. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and a master collaborator (both vertically and horizontally), with the innate ability to nurture partnerships across diverse teams. This role requires a passion for developing and driving innovative programs that elevate our brand and drive revenue growth.

The Revenue Marketing team at BlackRock Aladdin drives growth by aligning marketing strategy with commercial outcomes. We partner across sales, product, and research to deliver integrated campaigns that accelerate business growth and deepen client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop coordinated marketing campaigns that drive commercial impact in South Korea and the broader APAC region
  • Lead coordinated thought leadership and demand generation campaigns across email, digital advertising, social media, and paid content platforms – from conceptualization to execution and performance analysis
  • Localize relevant marketing campaigns, thought leadership content, and sales material into Korean Build and maintain partnerships with industry associations, academic institutions, and other key influencers
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement the Aladdin/Preqin presence at hosted and sponsored industry events, online activations, and webinars
  • Measure, quantify, and optimally communicate marketing impact to optimize campaign results and return on marketing investment

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing or agency roles
  • Possess native or near-native proficiency in both Korean and English, along with exceptional writing and editing abilities
  • Has experience in campaign development, such as the coordination and management of webinars, events, and workshops
  • Demonstrates the analytical skills to review marketing programs and make recommendations on how to optimize programs Self-starter with a growth mindset and a proven record to work cross-functionally and across geographies
  • Prior experience in finance, the private markets industry, or SaaS is an advantage
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms such as Salesforce, Pardot, and Eloqua is a plus
