About This Role

EPOS is looking for a Technical Specialist to join our Operations team and support both internal office functions and external technical deployments. This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role where you’ll be involved in project rollouts (especially POS systems), network-related troubleshooting, and supporting our overseas intern technician team.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth technical operations, while also acting as a bridge between the intern team and clients when required. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, resourceful, and enjoys both fieldwork and office-based responsibilities.

This is what your job scope will be...

Technical Deployment & Field Support
  • Execute technical deployments and rollouts for POS systems and other related projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues, including basic hardware and network problems.
  • Perform IP configuration, hardware setup, and ensure smooth handover of deployed systems.
  • Provide client support during deployments and act as a point of escalation for advanced issues.
Intern Supervision & Client Communication
  • Support, guide, and mentor deployed intern technicians during their daily tasks.
  • Represent the intern team in client interactions, resolving service concerns and ensuring communication clarity.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and report deployment or support-related issues as needed.
Office Operations & Ad-Hoc Duties
  • Assist with internal office technical needs, including basic maintenance
  • Procure necessary tools or office items for team operations
  • Support broader operations projects and contribute to workflow and process improvements.

Requirements
  • You have basic to intermediate knowledge of Windows OS and Android systems.
  • You’re familiar with Microsoft Excel for tracking, documentation, or data organization.
  • You have a working understanding of IP networking, hardware setup, and basic troubleshooting.
  • You’re a clear communicator, both verbally and in writing, and can explain technical concepts simply.
  • You’re proactive, independent, and organized with good time management skills.
  • You enjoy solving problems and can adapt quickly in dynamic environments.
