In this role, you will report to Tax Reporting Lead to prepare the schedules for tax returns and fulfil tax requirements.

Job Description:

  • Prepare month-end tax provision calculation and support tax reporting to Group Office
  • Assist to maintain tax provision account in books, including arranging for GIRO deduction for taxes and inter-fund transfers when necessary
  • Assist in Singapore Income Tax computation and tax return preparation and filing
  • Attend to tax queries by authorities
  • Prepare quarterly Group GST reporting calculation and file Group GST returns to IRAS
  • Maintain GST related balances/provision in books on monthly basis, including arranging for GIRO deduction of GST due to IRAS and inter-fund transfers when necessary
  • Assist in ad-hoc tax request matters when required
  • Analyze and solve problems without clear precedence
     

Who we are looking for:

Competencies & Personal Traits

  • Sound technical financial knowledge
  • Good understanding of accounting standards and requirements
  • Good understanding of life insurance taxation
  • Detailed and Meticulous
  • Strong analytics skills

Working Experience

  • Min 6 years of tax experience as an Accredited Tax Practitioner/Advisor

Professional Qualifications

  • ACCA 
     

Education

  • Degree in Finance

Language

  • English
