Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Private Equity & M&A team at Marsh. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This position involves developing and broking M&A tax risk insurance within the Private Equity & M&A team, providing specialised advice to clients on tax indemnity insurance policies related to Asia tax risks for complex, multi-jurisdictional M&A transactions. You will play a key role in supporting clients through the placement process and building relationships with global tax insurers.

We will count on you to:

  • Develop and broking M&A tax risk insurance within the Private Equity & M&A team.
  • Advise global private equity funds and corporates on tax indemnity insurance policies related to Asia tax risks for complex and multi-jurisdictional M&A deals.
  • Assist with the placement of tax insurance solutions through the preparation of submissions and indication summaries.
  • Support clients through the underwriting process and other related responsibilities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with global tax insurers across different countries and regions.
  • Negotiate the terms of the Tax Liability policy on behalf of the client to obtain the best coverage position.

What you need to have:

  • Experience in M&A insurance broking or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of tax risk insurance, particularly in the context of M&A transactions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple client relationships.
