The Talent Sourcing Specialist sources candidates for hiring needs primarily in HK and Macau, conducting interviews and managing recruitment activities.
What you will do
A skilled Talent Sourcing & TA Research Specialist would support hiring needs primarily in Hong Kong, Macau, with additional support for APAC sourcing work. We are positioned to make a dramatic impact on the culture at Johnson Controls by focusing on delivering high quality hires in an appropriate time frame.
How you will do it
- Source, screen, and engage with candidates for open positions predominantly in Hong Kong, Macau, with additional support for APAC sourcing work.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and define job requirements.
- Maintain and develop effective channels for recruitment, plan and conduct recruitment activities for all grades and positions within a particular line of business
- Conduct initial screening interviews, telephone interviews, and / or face-to-face interviews with prospective clients for corporate functions and high volume projects
- Produce & distribute detailed recruitment reports for the business and HR on a regular basis. Collect data and input into the KPI’s and ensure that the data presented are accurate
- Coordinate and maintain university relationship programs to implement Campus recruitment and develop campus Pipeline.
- Manage the candidate pipeline and facilitate the interview process.
- Work effectively with local and regional teams to achieve hiring goals.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the TA Manager regarding sourcing activities.
- Other TA related and ad-hoc work.
What we look for
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related major
- Proven experience in a talent acquisition or sourcing role, ideally with experience in recruitment agencies
- Recruitment experience in Engineering or labour intensive industry in an added advantage
- Ability to communicate effectively with hiring managers, third-party providers and candidates at all levels.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet timelines on deliverables
- Strong communication skills in Cantonese, English, Mandarin.
- Experience with commercial roles hiring processes is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach.
Preferred
- A good team player, well organized, self-starter, high level of accuracy and detail orientated
- Strong PC computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
