Job Description:
As an Assistant Manager / Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition at Sun Life Hong Kong, you will play a pivotal role in driving our recruitment strategy and supporting business growth. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to collaborate with business leaders, develop innovative talent-sourcing approaches, and attract top-tier candidates to our organization.
What Will You Do?
Partner with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing and screening to offer management and onboarding
Leverage multiple sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and professional networks
Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and high-volume roles
Drive and participate in recruitment campaigns and campus events to position Sun Life as an employer of choice
Provide market intelligence and compensation benchmarking to inform hiring decisions
Ensure data integrity in recruitment systems and generate actionable reports on key metrics
Collaborate with the regional TA team on transformation projects and best practice sharing
Drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes and support ad-hoc projects as needed
What Do You Need to Succeed?
Qualifications
Substantial talent acquisition experience (mix of in-house and agency preferred)
Demonstrated ability to deliver results in competitive markets
Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
Customer-centric mindset - to build trusted partnerships with hiring managers and candidates
Proactive and resilient - balancing a sense of urgency with strategic prioritization in fast-paced environments
Strong analytical skills – able to drive and facilitate data-informed decisions
Ability to diagnose complex hiring challenges, articulate root causes and deliver tailored solutions
Resourceful in exploring alternative talent pools or solutions to overcome talent shortages or competitive scenarios
Financial services/insurance industry experience and Greater Bay Area recruitment exposure preferred
