Context of the role

The Treasury team is responsible for all aspects of International Cash & Liquidity Management, Cashflow forecasting, Working Capital management and Foreign Exchange. The Treasury department is a friendly team-based environment that values interaction and exchange of ideas and knowledge.

The Treasury Systems Analyst role is based in the Singapore office, reporting to the Treasury Systems Manager in Singapore, and working closely with the rest of the team in Singapore, Beijing, Barcelona, Athens, Nairobi and Ecuador.

Position, purpose & key responsibilities

  • Treasury Systems Administration and Optimization
    • Treasury Management System: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Kyriba, maintaining system configuration, user access, security profiles, and workflow design.
    • ERP Integration: Oversee the technical interface between treasury systems and our ERP (e.g., Oracle Cloud/NetSuite). Ensure automated data flow for general ledger posting and bank statement processing.
    • Reconciliation & Automation: Use AutoRek or Finqware to automate high-volume transaction matching, fee analysis, and intercompany netting.
    • Maintenance: Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for all treasury-related software, and input/maintain bank account static data in all Core and Treasury systems.
  • Connectivity & Cash Visibility
    • Bank Connectivity: Manage global bank connectivity via SWIFT (MT/ISO 20022), APIs, and host-to-host (H2H) integrations to achieve 100% real-time cash visibility.
    • Payment Rails: Support the integration of Fintech-specific payment rails and digital wallets into the core TMS environment.
  • Reporting & Data Analytics
    • Dashboards: Build and maintain real-time liquidity dashboards and KPI reporting using TMS-native tools or BI platforms (Power BI/Tableau).
    • Forecasting: Enhance the accuracy of 13-week rolling cash forecasts by integrating data from various internal systems into the TMS.
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Controls: Ensure all systems comply with SOX, GDPR, and internal audit requirements.
    • Security: Partner with InfoSec to manage multi-factor authentication (MFA) and encryption protocols for financial messaging.

Experience & technical skills required

  • The candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a Treasury Systems role at a corporate or financial services firm, or a systems vendor offering Treasury infrastructure products.
  • Strong understanding of SWIFT messaging standards, ISO 20022, and bank API connectivity. Knowledge of other payment types a plus (SEPA, GIRO, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel skills (macros, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
