The Supervisor will lead a team of Technology Support Services Specialists, ensuring customer support requests align with SLAs while mentoring staff and developing solutions in collaboration with Sales and other key stakeholders.
As the Supervisor – Technology Support Services, you will lead, mentor, and develop a team of Technology Support Services Specialists on technology related products, projects, and initiatives providing technical expertise to customers. You will work with both internal and external customers to ensure all support requests are handled within the published Service-Level Agreements (SLAs). You will engage with the Technology Support Services leadership for complex, multi-discipline and global opportunities to ensure that comprehensive solutions are provided.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor day to day activity and ensure workload is evenly balanced throughout the team of Specialists.
- Work closely with Sales and key suppliers to build effective solutions that meet the customer expectations and future needs.
- Evaluate project opportunity and resources required to fulfill the tasks.
- Work closely with the Specialist , Senior Specialist and Solution Architect teams to provide deliverables to meet customer timelines and expectations.
- Work closely with the Regional Director, Learning & Development, key vendors, and Category Management to ensure that Specialists’ knowledge is current.
- Support the Global Training program in both a trainer and participant role.
- Assist Specialists and Sales team to identify and position technology solutions to help Communications and Security Solutions (CSS), Electrical and Electronic Solutions (EES), Utility and Broadband Solutions (UBS) and Global/National Security Integrators (GNSI) maximize sales potential and profitability.
Qualifications:
- Associates’ Degree (U.S.)/College Diploma (Canada) or commensurate years of technical experience; Licenses/Certificates/Designations required.
- Bachelors Degree - Bachelors’ Degree in eCommerce, eBusiness, information technology or related preferred
- 10+ years experience in the technical field of expertise in design, implementation and/or commissioning.
- Possess a customer-centric mindset.
- Possess intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to make decisions within the designated area of responsibility.
- BICSI RCDD and/or Industry equivalent preferred
- 2 years of experience with Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD 2D or iBwave or JVSG preferred
- 2 years of experience with Bluebeam Revu or AVAware or XTEN AV
- Ability to travel up to 25%
