Lead FP&A across markets and products, owning budgeting, forecasting, and decision-ready reporting. Prepare board materials, partner with product and commercial leaders to optimize unit economics, support fundraising by managing data rooms and financial diligence, and improve finance processes by applying automation and AI.
About the Role:
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a leading regional fintech. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will own the FP&A engine across multiple markets, products, and entities, with your analyses directly informing strategic decisions across new products, partnerships, and markets. This is not a reporting-coordination role: on the processes you own, your judgment is the deliverable. We are looking for someone who forms a view and puts their name on it, challenges the business when the numbers don't support the story, and is hungry to build rather than maintain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Own budgeting, forecasting, and monthly and weekly reporting cycles - delivered decision-ready and owning the recommendation
- Management & Board Reporting: Prepare board and management materials, distilling complex analyses into clear narratives on company performance
- Business Partnering: Work with product and commercial leaders to challenge business logic, optimize unit economics, and drive accountability for growth targets. Surface variances and deliver actionable insights independently
- Fundraising & Investor Relations: Support capital-raising efforts by leading data room preparation — assembling, analysing, and quality-checking the financial models, performance data, and supporting materials that underpin investor due diligence.
- Process & Systems Enhancement: Partner with accounting, commercial, and data teams to proactively identify inefficiencies in finance systems and processes, applying automation and AI to sharpen analytics and strengthen reporting accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (CFA, CPA) preferred
- 8–10+ years of experience in investment banking, strategic finance, or corporate FP&A, ideally in a high-growth or tech-driven environment
- Advanced financial modelling, with the ability to turn complex data into a recommendation, not just an output
- Strong communication and storytelling, with the presence to influence senior stakeholders and hold a view in front of them
- Deep curiosity and understanding of fintech business models, unit economics, and market trends
- Strategic, ownership-driven mindset — able to operate autonomously and lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution
- Prior experience in fintech, payments, or high-growth technology companies is a strong plus
