Truegenics Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based e-commerce company with a track record of more than US$218 million in online product sales. We develop and market our own brands of health and wellness products to customers around the world.

We strive to create value and make a positive difference, one life at a time. We believe that even the smallest action can define one’s destiny, and we are committed to creating products that enhance the lives of our consumers.

As we continue to scale and strengthen the way we manage our business, we are looking for a commercially minded and analytically strong Senior Manager, FP&A & Strategic Finance to improve financial visibility, strengthen planning and help management make clearer, faster and more informed decisions.

How the Role Fits Within Finance
Truegenics has an established finance operations function responsible for accounting, financial reporting, controls, compliance and day-to-day finance execution.

This role will complement that function by taking primary ownership of FP&A, forecasting, business performance analysis and strategic financial decision support.

The Senior Manager, FP&A & Strategic Finance will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the Head of Finance. Together, both functions will ensure that management decisions are supported by accurate financial information, forward-looking analysis and sound commercial judgment.

As the company and finance function evolve, the scope of this position may expand into broader finance leadership responsibilities based on business needs and demonstrated capability.

Mission of the Role
This is a high-impact position that works closely with the CEO and management team.

You will be responsible for turning financial and operational data into clear insights, forecasts and recommendations. You will help management understand where the company is making or losing money, what is driving performance, where resources should be allocated and what actions should be taken next.

This is not a purely reporting role. We are looking for someone who can connect financial data with business reality, investigate the underlying causes of performance and provide a clear point of view.
Success will be measured not only by the quality of the reports produced, but also by the quality of the decisions those reports enable.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Own the company’s rolling forecasting and scenario-planning processes. Build financial models covering revenue, margins, operating costs, manpower, inventory, cash flow and profitability.
  • Work with department leaders to ensure forecasts reflect commercial and operational reality. Track actual results against budgets and forecasts, explain material variances and recommend appropriate actions.

Business Performance Analysis

  • Analyse performance across products, brands, funnels, sales channels, marketing partners and customer segments.
  • Evaluate revenue, contribution margins, customer acquisition costs, affiliate payouts, average order value, refunds, fulfilment costs, inventory requirements and cash impact.
  • Identify the key drivers behind performance, distinguish profitable growth from unproductive growth and highlight risks, opportunities and early warning signs before they become major issues.

Strategic Finance & Decision Support

  • Serve as a trusted financial and commercial partner to the CEO and management team.
  • Evaluate major decisions involving pricing, marketing investments, product launches, hiring, vendor expenditure and resource allocation. Build business cases and scenario models, assess expected returns and recommend a clear course of action.
  • Challenge assumptions constructively and track whether approved initiatives ultimately deliver the results originally expected.

Management Reporting

  • Develop concise and decision-oriented management reports, dashboards and performance commentary.
  • Ensure that reporting explains not only what happened, but why it happened, why it matters and what management should do next.
  • Work closely with the Head of Finance to ensure that FP&A analysis is consistent with the company’s accounting records and operational finance data.

Cash Flow & Working-Capital Planning

  • Develop forward-looking cash-flow and liquidity forecasts and provide early warning of potential cash constraints or funding requirements.
  • Analyse inventory commitments, receivables, payables and other major working-capital drivers. Partner with the
  • Head of Finance and operating teams to improve cash visibility, inventory planning and working-capital efficiency.

Cross-Functional Business Partnership

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, product, operations, supply chain, human resources and finance.
  • Help department leaders translate business plans into financial assumptions, targets and measurable outcomes.
  • Support business cases for new initiatives, investments and operating changes while strengthening financial accountability across the company.

Process, Systems & AI Improvement

  • Improve FP&A processes, reporting cadences, dashboards and analytical workflows.
  • Use Excel, Google Sheets, DOMO, business-intelligence tools, automation and AI to reduce manual reporting, accelerate analysis and surface insights more quickly.
  • Apply sound financial judgment and appropriate validation to all automated or AI-generated outputs.

What We Are Looking For

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field.
  • At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in FP&A, business finance, commercial finance, management reporting or financial analysis.
  • Strong financial-modelling, forecasting, scenario-planning and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, profitability, cash flow and working capital.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets capability and comfort using dashboards,, automation and AI tools.
  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with the CEO, senior management and department heads.
  • Hands-on, intellectually curious and willing to investigate the underlying numbers.
  • Able to challenge assumptions respectfully and influence decisions through evidence.
  • Proactive, accountable and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is commercially curious, financially disciplined and comfortable operating close to the business.

When a number changes, you do not stop at describing the variance. You want to understand what caused it, whether it matters, what it means for the company and what action should follow.

You are comfortable moving between financial statements, marketing economics, product profitability, operating costs, inventory requirements and cash flow.

You use technology, AI and automation to improve the speed and quality of your work, but you rely on judgment, business context and critical thinking when forming recommendations.

Most importantly, you take ownership. You see financial analysis not as an end product, but as a tool for improving decisions and business performance.

Why Join Us
This is an opportunity to work directly with the CEO and play a meaningful role in shaping how an established international e-commerce company plans, measures and manages performance.

You will have visibility across the full business, exposure to senior decision-making and the opportunity to build FP&A practices that directly influence company direction. Your analysis will not sit in a report. It will be actively used to guide investment, improve profitability, allocate resources and make important business decisions.

If you enjoy turning numbers into decisions and want your work to have a direct and measurable impact, we would like to hear from you.
