Job Description

Team Summary

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visa's client-facing advisory division, serving Visa's clients (including card issuers, acquirers, merchants, others) and solving their strategic and execution problems linked to payments / money movement, customer experience, profitability, new business build, etc.

What a Sr. Director, Global Clients Lead, does at Visa:

As the VCA Global Clients Lead, you will be leading and responsible for the Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) engagements with our global clients. In this role, you are expected to:

  • Establish and cultivate relationship with Visa’s global clients and partners – Banks / Issuers, Acquirers, and Merchants & Fintech firms, by partnering with clients on a range of strategic and execution linked topics
  • Lead business development and execution of advisory engagements with the global clients
  • Partner closely with the clients’ teams to deliver results and solutions, deepening the relationship with the clients and obtaining long-term strategic goals
  • Work cross-functionally with other Visa teams (such as Marketing, Product, VAS, etc.) to bring holistic solution to our clients
  • Be the face of the franchise and establish credibility with the global clients

This role reports to the Visa Consulting & Analytics Lead for the Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand (SMT) cluster.

  • Applying advanced Portfolio Optimization disciplines to drive share and profitability

  • Develop med-term payments roadmaps to win against emerging disruptors
  • Building first-in-market propositions to expand reach of consumer credit

 

Qualifications

What you will need:

The ideal candidate will have strong consulting experience in the financial services and payments sector, is curious about the payments industry and is driven by delivering impact for clients.

  • 15+ years of experience in top-tier FI / FS consulting  (currently at Principal or Associate Partner level or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects / transformation programs at large banks, with clear ability to deliver outcomes
  • Knowledge of emerging trends in the local payment landscape including Fintech
  • Strong client stakeholder management skills and communication skills

What will also help:

  • MBA or equivalent education, certifications and/or business background
  • Understanding of cards P&L & key drivers and merchant acquiring
