As a Senior Account Executive - ASEAN High Tech Industry on the ASEAN One Enterprise Headquarter Team, you play a pivotal role in empowering High Tech customers and Unicorns to innovate and scale their businesses in the AI era. You will work at the intersection of technology and industry transformation, supporting companies as they revolutionize sectors such as e-commerce, fintech, social media, and gaming etc. Your leadership will help drive customer success and contribute to the vibrant regional ecosystem of developers, partners, and investors.
 
Drawing on your deep expertise in the startup and unicorn ecosystem, you will lead strategic engagements with enterprise customers, serving as a trusted advisor and driving the adoption of cloud technologies. Your experience will accelerate growth for Microsoft and your customers while enhancing connectivity with research, engineering, and industry innovation programs. With the support of deep Azure specialists in the immediate team, the role will drive growth of ASEAN High Tech customers in Microsoft Cloud & AI platform, including facilitating direct linkages to Microsoft broader ecosystem where relevant.

Responsibilities
Your expertise in understanding and addressing the business value of the Microsoft cloud & AI platform portfolio and a firm understanding of Microsoft strategies and products to major competitors will make you successful in this role. Your ability to work with your customers in creating a joint vision of their business strategy to help build, grow, and mature their business with MS as a key partner:
  • Industry Knowledge – Exhibit deep high tech industry knowledge and experiences, track current trends and market dynamics, and use this expertise to position Microsoft Azure & AI solutions in context while helping customers drive business transformation and innovation.
  • Customer Advocate – Develops and oversees the execution of account plan(s) to ensure Microsoft revenue targets and customer outcomes are met. Engages with internal and external stakeholders on business planning, to promote mutually beneficial customer AI Transformation strategies. Orchestrate full customer team across all areas of Microsoft to ensure we are focused on delivering customer outcomes across the customer lifecycle to build deep trust with Microsoft.
  • Industry Relevant Trusted Seller – Proactively develops a strong understanding of the customer’s business, industry priorities to drive new business opportunities/ drive growth/net new business. Advocates on behalf of the customer internally, ensuring requests and needs of assigned accounts are being addressed.
  • Deliver Sales Excellence – Leads and orchestrates extended virtual teams across our solution areas to consistently achieve growth in revenue & market share.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of strategic business development in High Tech industry & Startup/Unicorn ecosystems of innovators, incubators, focused on “born-in-the-cloud” enterprises 
    OR 5+ years of experience driving digital transformation or cloud consumption in High Tech industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering AND 5+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., high tech, digital native, startups), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology) experience working in an industry (e.g., financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, government, education), driving digital transformation
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6+ year(s) experience with cloud, AI and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
  • Network in the local Start Up ecosystem in ASEAN.
