Responsibilities- Playing a key role in strategic projects to automate Tower’s production environment
- Disrupting traditional processes and practices by developing innovative applications that solve real-world problems
- Being responsible for the wide range of internal systems and tools
- Creating and expanding our in-house tools and helping to develop an agile framework that adapts to quickly evolving requirements and business needs
- Liaising with and supporting other technical teams
- Building software to collect, analyze, and visualize large amounts of data
- Identifying opportunities to use technology to solve trading infrastructure management challenges
- Learning about and keeping up with the latest technologies
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Relevant experience in designing and improving information systems
- Strong knowledge of the full web programming stack (Python, Golang experience is a plus)
- Experience in building scale-able web services and exposure to any monitoring or alerting tools
- Experience with front-end technologies (VueJS/ReactJS/AngularJS), client-side Javascript and HTML based UI development is a plus
- Experience working with distributed systems is a plus
- Good Linux system skills and knowledge of shell scripts
- Strong communication skills in English for business purposes
Financial experience is not required but would be preferable.
