Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Global Market Applications Environment Manager with over 10 years of experience in managing and supporting complex applications such as Murex, environments across Development, SIT, UAT, Performance Testing, Pre-Production, and Production landscapes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for environment strategy, release coordination, infrastructure planning, environment stability, data management, and operational governance across Murex platforms.

The role requires strong expertise in Murex architecture, environment management, deep understanding of underlying Operating systems and Databases, release orchestration, infrastructure coordination, and stakeholder management within Global markets environments.

Key Responsibilities

Environment Management

  • Own and manage end-to-end Murex environments across all non-production and production landscapes.

  • Ensure availability, stability, and optimal performance of GM Front-to-Back and Risk applications in test environments.

  • Coordinate environment provisioning, refreshes, cloning, and decommissioning activities.

  • Maintain environment inventory, dependency mapping, and capacity planning.

Release & Deployment Coordination

  • Manage environment readiness for project releases, regulatory changes, and business initiatives.

  • Coordinate deployment activities across development, testing, and production environments.

  • Work closely with Development Teams, QA Teams, Release Managers, and Infrastructure Teams.

  • Identify and mitigate environment-related risks impacting delivery schedules.

  • Support release planning and change management processes.

Murex Infrastructure Management

  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Database, Middleware, and Cloud teams.

  • Ensure Murex application servers, load balancing servers, interfaces, and middleware platforms operate efficiently.

  • Support scalability planning and performance optimization initiatives.

  • Manage environment configuration consistency across all environments.

Database & Data Management

  • Coordinate database refreshes and environment synchronization activities.

  • Work with DBA teams for Oracle database administration support.

  • Oversee test data management and data masking activities.

  • Ensure environment data integrity and compliance with organizational policies.

Production Support & Governance

  • Establish environment governance frameworks and operational procedures.

  • Lead root cause analysis and resolution of environment-related incidents.

  • Monitor SLA adherence and environment availability metrics.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive automation initiatives for environment provisioning, deployment, and monitoring.

  • Improve release processes and reduce manual intervention.

  • Establish environment management KPIs and reporting dashboards.

  • Promote DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices where applicable.

Who you are

  • Degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science.

  • More than 10 years of experience in managing and supporting complex applications such as Murex, environments across Development, SIT, UAT, Performance Testing, Pre-Production, and Production landscapes.
