Social Strategist for a major tourism brand. You'll bridge data insights and creative execution, developing multi-platform playbooks and content pillars. Requires 6+ years’ experience, leadership of community management, and close partnership with the Creative Lead for brand alignment.

Role:

  • Platform Expertise: Stay at the forefront of platform algorithm changes, emerging social features, and policy updates, rapidly adapting the overall strategy to maintain reach and engagement. This expertise is also required for the posting of content across all the social platforms.
  • Creative Alignment: Collaborate with the Creative Lead to ensure all deployed content is strategically sound, on-brand, and designed to maximise audience impact.
  • Community Leadership: Lead and oversee the community management strategy, establishing protocols to foster engagement, build brand advocacy, and effectively manage audience interactions. Provide coverage for the community manager when required.
  • Performance Optimisation: Monitor key strategic metrics and performance indicators, advising on adjustments needed to ensure the strategy continually drives audience growth and business objectives.
  • Reporting: Oversee monthly reporting and work with the analyst to blend social insights with creative hypotheses to ensure continuous optimisation of content.
  • Copywriting: Crucial to have strong copywriting skills for social platforms to act as coverage and lead effectively.

You:

  • Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in social media strategy, content planning, or digital marketing for major brands.
  • Proven experience in developing and launching successful, high-impact multi-platform content strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data, market research, and analytics into concrete, actionable creative and content strategies.
  • Strong expertise in authoring detailed creative briefs and coordinating creative teams.
  • Deep, up-to-date knowledge of social media platform algorithms, emerging features (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), and community management best practices.
  • Experience in a leadership capacity, or proven ability to lead and oversee the work of team members or external agencies.
  • A proactive, self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a complex matrix environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills, and ideally, fluent in another Asian language to support the projects spanning APAC.
