Senior Social Media Analyst 

As a Senior Social Media Analyst supporting our client - one of the largest technology brands, you’ll play a pivotal role in owning measurement and analysis of their social campaigns and how it fits in the broader social marketing campaigns. 

Your primary focus will be creating engaging and cutting-edge social strategies targeted toward enterprises.  You will work across APAC to deliver methodological and intelligent campaign and competitive performance insight reports coupled with social listening insights to provide real-time feedback to shape social content strategies. It’s imperative to be a self-starter, dynamic with a can-do attitude. This opportunity would suit someone knowledgeable and skilled in social media analytics, marketing measurement, , and analytics, with solid spreadsheet skills, a love of data, and an interest in exploring new ways of using data to drive business value. 

Role: 

  • Set up, operationalise and develop social media listening and analysis, as a program, in APAC for key business units and markets.
  • Ensure timely, smooth, and insightful delivery of processes, measurement, and listening projects.
  • Manage or help build new tools, develop best case practices and manage relationships (internal, external partners) within the social listening and analysis space.
  • Implement and advocate for use of consistent and globally aligned measurement standards and methodologies. 
  • Lead selected key campaign measurement projects with Owned, Paid and Earned Social data for the local market and/or product teams.
  • Uncover data-based insights, drive experiments with marketing teams, and iterate to find winning social strategies.
  • Translate complex analytics to easy-to-understand and insightful recommendations for internal marketing teams and relevant agencies working on Social.
  • Report on social program performance on a regular basis, in addition to weekly listening and reporting.

You:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in an agency or brand with Earned Social Media / Social listening as an analyst.
  • Relevant skills in working with social analytics tools (e.g. Brandwatch, Tubular, Sprinklr) and developing effective and clean boolean queries.
  • A keen interest in data-driven marketing and understanding the critical role data plays in campaigns or an always-on strategy.
  • Capable of visualising data and storytelling to improve decision making, drive action, and raise relevant provocations for marketers.
  • An appreciation of structure, operational clarity and simplicity in everything you do.
  • A strong understanding and knowledge of relevant social platforms and their data.
  • Proven ability to set campaign goals, KPIs and targets.
  • The ability to be self-sufficient, stay motivated and be positive in an often fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills while having a proactive attitude. 
  • Skilled in data management and visualisation tools (Google Sheets, Google Slides, Looker Studio).
  • A problem-solver, adept at facing challenges and creating solutions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentation skills and, ideally, fluent in another Asian language to support the projects across JAPAC.
  • Skills with SQL, Python / Colab, statistical analysis are all a bonus.
