About the Team
The middleware team plays a strong and crucial part in stabilising the core infrastructure of OKX. It allows for a stable overall architecture and environment that allows for the engineering community to code, push out to features in a safe and reliable environment. The team is a group of tightly knit individuals passionate about utilising tech to improve and better the coding environment within OKX, thereby benefiting our users and customers in the long run.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and develop multiple subsystem modules for the one-stop performance platform, such as R&D process pipeline, environmental swim lane, flow pressure measurement, and regression testing.
- Collaborate with product or business teams to thoroughly understand requirements and implement back-end business logic development.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to realise data interactions and develop back-end interfaces.
- Contribute to system maintenance and optimization to ensure code stability and efficiency.
- Prepare and update documentation, including but not limited to design documents and development manuals.
- Engage in project requirement discussions, and complete task decomposition and estimation.
What We Look For In You

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Computer Science related major.

2 years of Java development experience, with strong knowledge of JVM, network programming, and multi-thread concurrency control.

Experienced with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, MyBatis, and other microservice development frameworks.

Proficient in using and developing with common database middleware such as MySQL, Redis, and Kafka; skilled in database design and optimization.

Familiar with the Linux operating system and common Linux commands.

Demonstrates strong learning ability, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Effective team player with the ability to work under pressure.
Nice to Haves
- Familiar with the Kubernetes open-source cloud platform and Docker container technology
- Experience in Linux systems, including performance checking and tuning.
- Experience in large-scale internet product development and familiarity with cloud provider IaaS, PaaS, and DevOps platform development is preferred.
