Job Description
Purpose of the role:
The Global Client Group (“GCG”) provides solutions for investors across the Brookfield Asset Management organization. GCG also manages institutional relationships and raises capital for Brookfield and its affiliated managers’ various private funds.
Brookfield is looking to hire an experienced consultant relations professional to join its Global Client Group. This individual will be responsible for engaging with consultants globally, playing a key role in driving business through the consultant channel. The candidate will collaborate closely with the firm’s consultant relations and investment specialist colleagues around the globe along with the broader distribution team to enhance engagement, coordinate efforts, and expand Brookfield’s platforms presence within the institutional market.
Responsible for:
- Collaborate with the consultant relations team by working in partnership with our relationship specialists to enhance our footprint with consultants.
- Possess a deep expertise in different private funds as this person will lead our conversations with consultants to the last mile of the process before bringing in an investment professional.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key consulting firms globally.
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to maximize engagement that is consistent with the objectives, investment capabilities, and culture of Brookfield.
- Work closely with investment teams and senior business leaders to communicate investment strategies, portfolio construction, and performance details internally and externally.
- Articulate Brookfield’s narrative, products, and platform, including the organization's differentiating characteristics.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Brookfield’s platforms as well as broader industry trends.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior members of the team.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills
- BA/BS in business, finance, marketing, or related field.
- Post-graduate studies in finance, MBA, or CFA would be highly regarded.

- 10+ years of experience in institutional consultant relations, investment, product management, or sales.
