Job Description
As a Senior Venue Executive, you will assist the Venue Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of assigned venues, ensuring smooth delivery of events, programmes, and community activities. You’ll work closely with internal teams, partners, and the public to create safe, well‑managed, and engaging spaces across arts, community, sports, wellness, and eco venues.
About the Role- Manage daily venue operations, including event setup, logistics, and turnover.
- Coordinate and support a wide range of events, programmes, and festive activities.
- Work with stakeholders, vendors, volunteers, and community partners.
- Ensure facilities, equipment, and venues are safe, well‑maintained, and ready for use.
- Track venue utilisation, schedules, and basic operational records.
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in venue operations, event management, community facilities, or programme delivery.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Arts Venues: 5–10 years of theatre or performing arts venue management experience, with sound and visual knowledge for live productions and screenings.
- Community / Sports Venues: 3–5 years of event management experience, preferably managing large‑scale events (10,000+ participants).
- Eco & Wellness Venues: 3–5 years of experience in organic farming, landscaping, or eco‑facility management.
- Wellness / Active Ageing Centres: 3–5 years of experience in an Active Ageing Centre (AAC), Senior Activity Centre (SAC), or similar community care environment.
