Responsibilities / Tasks
Strategy & Business Development
• Support the BU leader in defining and executing the strategic agenda in alignment with the Division and GEA global strategy.
• Lead the annual strategic planning process across the region: develop tools, set targets, and challenge bottom-up inputs from local teams.
• Identify and develop business opportunities, organic or inorganic, across APAC (e.g., M&A, partnerships, portfolio shifts).
• Drive competitive and market analysis to identify growth areas and proactively respond to industry trends.
• Translate strategic priorities into executable projects, in close collaboration with Sales, Service, Operations, and Finance teams.
• Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives through KPIs and regular reporting to the leadership team.
Execution Leadership
• Lead or co-lead cross-functional projects, including growth acceleration, organizational changes, and customer initiatives.
• Facilitate and moderate decision-making forums and workshops with senior leaders.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the BU leader and Regional Managing Directors.
• Ensure alignment between strategic direction and frontline execution; act as the “glue” between planning and implementation.
• Travel regularly across APAC to engage stakeholders, follow up on execution, and provide local support.
• Develop and execute a regional sustainability roadmap – together with our APAC Sustainability Manager, identifying opportunities to reduce environmental impact and promote circularity.
• Track and report sustainability KPIs; support customer-facing sustainability positioning in the region.

Your Profile / Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in strategy, business development, transformation, or management consulting
• Proven experience in executing strategic initiatives
• Excellent presentation skills incl. preparation of presentations (pptx.)
• Experience working in a consultancy firm is a plus
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills across multiple levels and cultures
• Fluency in English
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Willingness to travel across APAC
