Job Description

As a key member of our HR People Relations team, you will play a pivotal role behind a thriving employee culture - a trusted HR partner, culture champion, and strategic advisor. You’ll support and influence how we engage, grow, support, and recognize our people, bringing to life our values and vision through exceptional people practices.

Areas of accountability:

  • Drive and champion employee engagement and well-being programs, creating a culture where people feel heard, supported, and inspired to bring their best selves to work.

  • Provide hands-on guidance and coaching to managers and employees on all employee relations matters—performance, conduct, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and more.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to create meaningful employee experiences throughout the entire journey - from onboarding to offboarding.

  • Lead and enhance HR processes by simplifying work and embracing technology. Use data to inform decisions and reimagine how HR delivers value.

  • Support performance management processes with purpose and clarity. Help unlock employee potential by linking development needs with strategic L&D efforts.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Manpower teams to drive strategic hiring, internal mobility, and workforce planning - including leading crew promotion selections.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in HR business partnering, employee relations, or people operations - ideally with unionized workforce exposure.

  • A sharp eye for process improvement, with a love for data and tech to elevate HR service delivery.

  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and best practices.

  • Excellent communicator with empathy, tact, and confidence.

  • Someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo.
