Job DescriptionSalary range: S$174,000 - S$216,000 SGD per annum + RSUs
About the Spend Squad:
We build products that allow our customers to spend their money anywhere in the world. We currently process about £26 billion annually and issue cards to over 40 countries. We are also building out features which localise the spending experience no matter where you are.
As the lead of the mobile team you would be responsible for shipping the direct customer touch points on one of Wise's most impactful products.

What the team is doing
The mobile engineers are currently embedded in our various product teams. We would like to bring them together in a new team led by you to optimise our mobile engineering resources, and facilitate the growth and development of our team.
The engineers currently support 5 individual product teams within our squad and do very close work with the wider teams / squads / tribes within Wise.
The engineering team will support the card product across all stages, card order, transacting, 3ds, bill split, recurring payments, dispute resolution and much more.
Proven experience leading and mentoring one or multiple high-performing engineering teams.
A strong product mindset and passion for customer experience, you prioritise work with the customers in mind and make data-driven decisions to fix customer pain-points
Strong technical skills in either iOS or Android development.
Great communication skills and the ability to articulate complex, technical concepts to non-technical audience
You are able to pivot effectively when priorities change, quickly re-prioritizing and adjusting workflows to meet objectives, and you are impactful when doing work in the weeds with the teams.
You are comfortable working in a globally distributed squad and tribe, and driving projects across multiple teams and disciplines.
You are not just a people manager, you’re a technical and product passionate contributor who can grow teams, individuals,initiatives and empower our ICs to expand their industry presence
Ideally you’ve grown a team from incubation to high performance state before.
