Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end ABAP design, development, and optimization for SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems
- Drive custom code remediation and optimization for S/4HANA migration
- Design and develop solutions using ABAP Objects, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services
- Develop and enhance applications using RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
- Work on SAP Fiori/UI5 backend services and integrations
- Build and support interfaces using IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Proxy, REST, and SOAP APIs
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure performance optimization, security compliance, and clean-core principles
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to junior developers
- Support production issues and lead root-cause analysis
- S/4HANA ABAP development & custom code adaptation
- CDS Views (Basic, Composite, Consumption, Analytical)
- AMDP & HANA SQLScript (good understanding)
- RAP / EML (preferred)
- OData Services (SEGW / RAP-based)
- SAP Fiori backend enablement
- IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Proxies
- REST / SOAP APIs
- Exposure to SAP BTP, CAP, or cloud integrations is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to mentor and guide junior analyst.
- Experience with SAP UI5/Fiori frontend and knowledge of Clean Core principles are a plus
