As a Senior Sales Engineer - Power Services, you will be responsible for driving service sales growth across Singapore by developing new business opportunities, expanding our installed base, and building strong relationships with utilities, EPCs, consultants, data center operators, industrial customers, and other key stakeholders.

This is a customer-facing role focused on business development, opportunity generation, and service sales growth within the power and electrical infrastructure sector.

Your Responsibilities
  • Drive profitable growth by identifying, developing, and converting new service sales opportunities across Singapore.
  • Expand Hitachi Energy's installed base through maintenance, upgrades, retrofits, repairs, spare parts, and lifecycle management solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with utilities, consultants, EPCs, contractors, end users, industrial customers, and data center operators.
  • Execute sales strategies to achieve order intake, revenue, and margin targets.
  • Lead customer engagements, technical discussions, commercial negotiations, and solution presentations.
  • Prepare and manage quotations, proposals, tenders, and service agreements in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with service operations, technical experts, Product Service Centers, and regional teams to deliver competitive customer solutions.
  • Identify market opportunities, customer requirements, and industry trends to support business growth.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and market intelligence.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Your Background
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in sales, business development, service sales, or account management within the electrical power, energy, utilities, or industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record of developing new business opportunities and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of power systems, electrical infrastructure, substations, transformers, switchgear, protection, automation, or related service offerings.
  • Existing network with utilities, EPCs, consultants, contractors, industrial customers, or data center stakeholders in Singapore is highly preferred.
  • Experience managing customer relationships and complex sales opportunities from identification through award.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a customer-facing environment.
Preferred
  • Experience selling maintenance, service agreements, upgrades, retrofits, or aftermarket solutions.
  • Exposure to power transmission, distribution, substations, transformers, switchgear, grid automation, or related electrical infrastructure solutions.
  • Established network within the Singapore power and energy market.
