About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager/Manager, Product Risk to join our Risk Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting independent reviews of existing and new products proposed by RHB Singapore entities, including the Bank and Asset Management. You will play a key role in designing and executing product risk management processes aligned with RHB SG/RHB Group strategies, policies, and regulatory requirements, while ensuring effective monitoring of product environments and maintaining strong governance practices.

 

What you will be doing

  • Conduct independent reviews of new and existing product proposals across RHB Singapore entities

  • Design and implement product risk management frameworks in line with group strategies, policies, and regulatory standards

  • Monitor changes in product environments and proactively identify gaps, ensuring timely mitigation actions

  • Maintain and update relevant product governance policies and manuals

  • Support the Head of Risk Management in driving value creation initiatives for niche products

  • Manage the effective running of Singapore Product Committee (SPC) meetings

  • Review and enhance governance policies related to SPC and secretariat functions

  • Strengthen product suitability frameworks and methodologies to ensure regulatory compliance

  • Act as a subject matter expert on product risks, including investment-related risks

  • Perform product performance benchmarking and methodology reviews

  • Monitor market developments and escalate risks arising from market disruptions to Senior Management

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business units, operations, and finance to ensure cohesive product risk management

  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned

 

What we're looking for

  • Strong experience in product risk management, preferably within banking or financial services

  • Solid understanding of product governance, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements

  • Experience in managing committees and stakeholder engagement

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities

  • Proactive, driven, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
