Job Description

  • Prepare credit & security documentation (Lombard, Mortgage, Insurance, Single Stock etc) based on approved parameters.
  • Ensure all approved terms are correctly reflected in the documents.
  • Ensure all documentation are in order before releasing to Senior Client Advisors for client's acceptance / issuance to client.
  • Check all returned documentation to ensure that it is in order (ie. All necessary documents are signed, signatures are duly verified, all pages returned and there are no amendments to the documents etc.
  • If necessary, perform registration of charge(s). Update document deficiency report & send monthly reminders.
  • Be able to liaise independently with legal, compliance and other stakeholders on documentation issues and to negotiate clauses and protecting the Bank's interests vs client's requests.
  • Obtain/renew/maintain master legal opinion for existing & new jurisdictions.
  • Be the subject matter expert in documentation and represent the team/department on related matters/projects.
  • Maintain templates of all credit & security documents.

Requirements

  • Preferably 2 to 3 years of experience in Private Bank credit documentation
  • Good command of the English language and understanding of the Private Bank business so as to be able to work on documentation templates and be able to negotiate with internal & external legal counsels.
  • Be able to work independently & take initiative
