Job Responsibilities

  • Audit of Cage (Fill Bank, Main Bank, Marker Bank, Windows and vault activities), Slot, Table Game, Rolling Program transactions in accordance with Audit Policy and Checklist

  • Ensure the daily slot results and daily table games results are agreed with the D.I.C.J Inspectors

  • Full accounting of all relevant documentation and note all violations, missing documentation and other exceptions

  • Prepare Slot Reports – Drop, Jackpots and Fills as required by regulatory authorities

  • Prepare daily revenue journals for Casino Accounting

  • Reconcile revenue accounts at month end to Casino Accounting

  • Attend to Soft Count Room duties as required

  • Prepare Master Gaming Report, results by table games/game types as required by regulatory authorities and other reporting requirements as required

  • Responsible for proper reporting on Complimentary Players Program (Member Club and others), Premium Players and Junkets

  • Review daily audit activities relating to cage operations, investigate variances identified, and follow up with business units on exceptions noted.

  • Review key controls, daily levies collection, patron points earning activities and casino-related events to ensure compliance with internal controls, audit policies and regulatory requirement.

  • Prepare the Daily Operating Report and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of reported figures.

  • Perform reconciliation and prepare month-end journal entries, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

  • Ensure financial records are properly maintained in compliance with approved accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Attend periodic stock take conducted by business units and follow up on variances or exceptions identified.

  • Handle audit matters and conduct follow-up investigations, ensuring issues are appropriately addressed and resolved

  • Assist in ad-hoc analysis, special reviews, and projects assigned by Manager.

  • Prepare and/or review, as applicable, PMLTFPF related reports to ensure they are completed accurately and submitted within the required timeframes, in full compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements

  • Prepare and/or review, as applicable, customer due diligence related to PMLTPF reporting and ad-hoc sanction screenings to ensure they are thorough, accurate and complete.

  • Ensure wire transactions are processed and reported promptly, and in accordance with the relevant regulatory requirements

  • Perform ad‑hoc tasks as assigned, including on‑the‑job training for new officers and participation in process enhancement or improvement projects

  • Ensure compliance with “Internal Control System Policies and Procedures” at all times

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Minimum diploma qualification preferred, or equivalent education with relevant work experience

Experience

  • Minimum two years’ experience as an Accountant or Auditing with a reputable Public Accounting firm

Other Prerequisites

  • Conversant in English

  • Possess a flair for numerical and excellent service and communication skills

  • Good understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices; experience in casino operations will be an advantage

  • Must be able to perform shift duties and work on weekends and public holidays
