The core Netflix Ads team is charged with building a best-in-class ads organisation to establish Netflix as the go-to platform for advertiser partners.
Netflix Ads Measurement team is looking for a new Measurement Partner for its Export team based in Singapore. Ads Measurement is the team in charge of building industry-leading research and measurement for advertisers to support our broader advertising sales efforts. This role is specifically to support advertisers based in APAC who are looking to reach global audiences in our 12 ads markets.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, data science, consumer insights, and our vendor partners. Key Responsibilities
Design and conduct measurement studies and generate insights on campaign effectiveness that convey the story of Netflix’s Ads globally to advertisers, with a focus on reach and frequency, brand health performance, and conversion.
Integrate measurement outputs to craft a compelling narrative, present insights independently to clients and agencies, and offer guidance on optimising their media mix.
Partner with advertisers to create category-specific learning agendas & playbooks
Partner with the Export Advertising Sales and Account Management teams to address day-to-day measurement requests
Offer expert advice to cross-functional partners and advertiser clients on KPIs and measurement strategies, enhancing media plan effectiveness on Netflix
Use proprietary and syndicated tools to create regular/ad-hoc reporting for stakeholders (both internal and external) on the Netflix Ads audience
Manage the day-to-day measurement study process with third-party vendors from end to end including sales requests, vendor intake, survey drafting, analysis, report creation, and presentation. Work closely with Sales Account Managers to ensure studies are launched smoothly and wrapped successfully.
Mine, collect, and retain information on trends in campaign effectiveness within Netflix and the media industries to develop and present case studies
Support team projects, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and maintain high standards. Build and promote processes for efficient working methods across the team.
Internal and external stakeholder management (i.e. advertisers, clients, data analytic vendors, etc.)
Experience & Skills
8-10 Years experience in media research and measurement at Streaming, TV, digital media companies or media agencies
Strong knowledge of the advertising landscape, across all media channels and methods of buying
Strong understanding of brand marketing via media channels
Strong understanding of media conversion measurement techniques
Strong understanding of methodology, data, and systems from research providers (e.g. Nielsen, Macromill, Kantar, etc.) and direct digital technology and analytics
Experienced in campaign effectiveness measurement including Reach & Frequency, Incremental lift, Brand lift, Sales lift, A/B testing, Marketing Mix Models, Search lift and bespoke campaign effectiveness studies
Experienced in digital advertising or marketing analytics across full funnel metrics
Experienced in insights generation and storytelling to convey audience behaviour and preferences
Highly curious, always looking for the meaning behind data
Self-starter and self-motivated with strong communication skills and expertise in managing larger-scale, complex projects.
Highly organised and experienced in building and following processes to make working methods more efficient.
Flexible and open-minded: Able to thrive in a startup environment with ambiguity
Builds strong relationships with clients and colleagues; values diverse perspectives for better decision-making.
Excellent writing and presentation-building skills
Proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese
Preferred Tools & Technical Skills
Highly preferred to have worked with Export advertisers in APAC or Greater China, or have worked with platforms or agencies in China
Familiarity with large-scale data environments and analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python/R, BigQuery) commonly used in global digital advertising platforms
Proven expertise in advanced measurement methodologies
Comfort in analyzing large and disparate data sets to glean meaningful insights
