DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and driving regional marketing strategy and programs that support business growth, market development, customer engagement, campaign execution and demand generation for the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry division in the APJ region.

This role serves as a key interface between regional commercial teams and global and divisional marketing organizations, ensuring that regional market and customer needs are reflected in marketing strategies and programs. The Senior Marketing Manager will partner closely with regional Commercial organization, Business Units, Market Development, and other cross-functional stakeholders to translate business priorities into impactful marketing initiatives.

The role will lead and support the planning and execution of marketing activities, including direct and digital marketing, events, new product introductions, sales enablement to drive customer engagement and sustainable business growth across the region.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; advanced scientific degree (MS or Ph.D.) and/or MBA is preferred
• 8-10+ years’ experience in marketing, product marketing, market development, commercial or a related function within life science, analytical instrumentation, scientific technology, or other relevant B2B industries
Strong life sciences and/or analytical instrumentation market and business knowledge, with demonstrated experience developing and executing regional marketing, go-to-market, demand generation, and new product commercialization strategies that drive pipeline, booking, and market growth
• Ability to develop a strong understanding of the Thermo Scientific brand, relevant markets, customer segments, applications, and portfolio of instruments, consumables, software, and services to effectively support business and commercial priorities.

• Proven experience leading integrated, multi-channel marketing programs, including digital programs and physical events, with a strong focus on measurable results and ROI
• Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate customer, market, competitive, and performance insights into actionable business priorities

Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a complex global matrix organization, influencing and collaborating with Commercial, Business Unit, and cross-functional stakeholders across regions and cultures
Highly self-motivated with ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects

Ability to travel approximately 20–30%, including international travel as required
