About The Festival of Connoisseurs (TFOC)

The Festival of Connoisseurs is Asia's premier luxury lifestyle platform, launching in Hong Kong in November 2026, backed by a strategic partnership between Informa Markets and the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB).

TFOC introduces Asia's first-ever "City-as-Your-Showroom" concept—transforming Hong Kong into a living luxury universe by staging premium exhibitions and experiences across the city's most iconic venues and destinations, rather than confining them to a single exhibition center.

The Festival showcases nine dynamic worlds of connoisseurship:

  • Marque (Supercars & Automotive)
  • Vault (Haute Jewellery & Horology)
  • Galerie (Art & Masterpieces)
  • Passage (Premium Travel)
  • Estate (Luxury Properties)
  • Zenith (Private Aviation)

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking an exceptional (Senior) Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy and execution for TFOC—a groundbreaking luxury lifestyle platform that will redefine premium events in Asia. This is a rare opportunity to build a flagship event from the ground up, working at the intersection of luxury, lifestyle, and destination marketing.

You will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that position TFOC as the must-attend event for luxury connoisseurs, high-net-worth individuals, premium brands, and trade buyers across Asia and globally.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy for TFOC, aligning with business objectives and revenue targets
  • Position TFOC as Asia's premier luxury lifestyle platform, building brand awareness and prestige across target audiences
  • Create compelling brand narratives that bring the "City-as-Your-Showroom" concept to life
  • Drive integrated campaigns across multiple luxury verticals (Marina, Marque, Vault, Galerie, etc.)

Brand & Communications

  • Lead PR and media relations strategy, securing high-impact coverage in luxury, lifestyle, trade, and business media
  • Develop relationships with key media partners, luxury publications, and influencers across Asia and internationally
  • Craft press releases, media kits, and thought leadership content that elevate TFOC's positioning
  • Manage brand partnerships and collaborations with luxury brands, cultural institutions, and strategic partners

Trade Marketing & Demand Generation

  • Design and execute B2B marketing campaigns to attract premium exhibitors and sponsors across nine luxury verticals
  • Develop B2C strategies to drive high-net-worth visitor attendance and engagement
  • Create targeted campaigns for VIP audiences, collectors, connoisseurs, and trade buyers
  • Partner with HKTB and strategic partners to leverage destination marketing opportunities

Event Marketing & Experiential

  • Plan and execute pre-event, on-site, and post-event marketing activations across Hong Kong's iconic venues
  • Design immersive brand experiences that showcase the "City-as-Your-Showroom" concept
  • Coordinate with venue partners, luxury brands, and stakeholders to deliver seamless citywide experiences
  • Manage VIP programs, exclusive previews, and invitation-only experiences

Digital Marketing & Content

  • Oversee digital strategy including website, social media (WeChat, Instagram, LinkedIn, RedNote, TikTok etc.), email marketing, and paid media
  • Create premium content (videos, photography, editorial) that reflects luxury brand standards
  • Leverage influencer and KOL partnerships to amplify reach within luxury communities
  • Drive data-driven campaigns using marketing automation and CRM platforms

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate closely with HKTB, strategic partners, and internal teams (sales, operations, events)
  • Manage agency relationships (creative, PR, media, digital, production)
  • Work cross-functionally with Informa Markets' global luxury event portfolio (Monaco Yacht Show, Top Marques Monaco, Jewellery Arabia, etc.)
  • Present marketing plans, performance reports, and insights to senior leadership

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 8+ years in marketing, with significant experience in luxury brand marketing (fashion, jewellery, automotive, hospitality, lifestyle)
  • Proven track record in PR, media relations, and trade marketing
  • Strong event marketing experience, ideally with premium/luxury events, exhibitions, or festivals
  • Experience managing integrated campaigns across B2B and B2C audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to build brands from the ground up or launch new products/events

Skills & Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of luxury consumer behavior, high-net-worth audiences, and connoisseur communities
  • Exceptional storytelling and brand-building capabilities
  • Strong media relationships and PR acumen
  • Experience with experiential marketing and creating immersive brand experiences
  • Digital marketing proficiency (social media, content marketing, influencer partnerships)
  • Budget management and ROI-driven marketing approach
  • Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration

Language Requirements

  • Fluent in English (essential); Mandarin (highly preferred); Cantonese (advantageous).

  • Experience with citywide events or multi-venue activations
  • Established network within Hong Kong's luxury, lifestyle, and cultural communities
  • Experience with Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools
