Job Description

As the Senior Manager, Strategy and Partnerships at GrabAds, your major role will be in the intersection of strategy-planning, partnership-formulation and innovations-integration within the advertising technologies arena. Your comprehensive responsibilities will be:

The Critical Tasks You will Perform

  • Strategy Development & Communication: You will drive strategic planning for the GrabAds division, including developing financial models, revenue projections, product requirements, risk assessments, and rollout plans.
  • Cross-functional Partnerships: You will collaborate with leadership, regional, revenue, marketing, ad operations, sales operations, and finance teams to plan and roll out high-impact projects that strengthen Grab's ecosystem.
  • Partnership Framework Development: You will establish and execute a partnership framework that aligns with GrabAds’ long-term vision, sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating partnerships to enhance revenue and accelerate the product roadmap.
  • AdTech Expertise: You will position yourself as the foremost expert in advertising technologies, guiding the team through ad tech queries and challenges both locally and globally.
  • Innovative Advertising Solutions: You will strategize, incubate, and launch innovations that seamlessly bridge online and offline advertising worlds.
  • In-country Partnership Support: You will oversee strategic agreements, direct-to-client partnerships, consumer insights, and measurement needs.
  • Experimentation & Special Projects: You will lead, incubate, and scale critical GrabAds experiments and special projects across all Grab markets.

Qualifications


What Skills You will Need

  1. Advertising Technology Expertise: At least 12 years of experience in the advertising technology space, with added value for experience in publisher in-app monetization.
  2. Adtech Ecosystem Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the ad tech ecosystem and emerging trends such as Retail Media Networks.
  3. Partnership Experience: Proven ability to forge partnerships with global technology firms, particularly in 1st-party audiences, supply integrations, and online to offline expansions.
  4. Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated skill in aligning product initiatives with business objectives to drive strategic outcomes.
  5. Independence and Initiative: Ability to operate autonomously, take the lead, and drive projects to completion.
  6. Negotiation Skills: Proficient in negotiating and securing long-term valuable strategic partnerships.
  7. Regional Experience: Experience in the Southeast Asia or larger APAC region is advantageous but not essential.
