About the job:

As part of the APAC Indirect Channel Management (ICM) team, the incumbent has a key role to develop tools to  support the roll out of strategy related to all Indirect Channels in APAC, including projects to ensure continuous improvements in how channel partners are managed to drive growth with robust compliance standards.

He/ She with work closely with  ICM leads and leverage cross-functional relationships to bring together ideas, information, use cases and industry analyses to develop best practices.  Identify and propose solution for issues of substantial significance that affect the functions within the global excellence.

He/ She is to lead the process of GX metrics and  IC performance data  analysis to ensure discipline and rigor around Stryker’s indirect channel lifecycle management process, with a specific focus on driving compliance to GX Metrics, Global Standards and  IC productivity.

The incumbent will have responsibility for implementing effective training in the region for our Indirect Channel partners and the related internal teams,

demonstrate the ability to inspire, engage, motivate and coach a team.  The incumbent will effectively manage change and drive buy-in from stakeholders, create value and deliver on strategic initiatives.  

He/ She will also be the leader of Indirect Channel Management (ICM) in Australia and New Zealand, playing the key role in developing and executing strategy related to all Indirect Channels in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) (across all Franchise).

This role will be part of the APAC ICM team and reports to Senior Director, ICM APAC and has dual responsibility: APAC ICM Lead and ANZ ICM Country Lead

What you will be doing:

APAC ICM Lead:

  • Work with Regional ICM Leads and Cross functional leads to ensure roll out of APAC ICM strategy
  • Develop tools to support the execution of APAC ICM strategy and ICM Goals, including risks mitigations
  • Support the  roll out of global processes locally refining the global frameworks
  • Partner closely with our Global BES team to develop regional training capabilities that will drive on-demand and locally relevant team upskilling
  • Participate in relevant SYK regional and country leadership meetings to ensure LTs are aligned, understand and execute on ICM global practice
  • Deciding on escalated ICM issues from country leaders to strengthen globally established indirect channel management standards in APAC
  • Support effective communication roll out  to senior management, internal and external business partners

ANZ Country ICM Lead:

  • Lead Indirect Channel Management (ICM) in developing and executing strategy related to all Indirect Channels in ANZ
  • Lead Aid in selecting, developing and overseeing ANZ indirect channel contract portfolio
  • Manage the education and training of business leaders across ANZ
  • Manage end to end  IC processes in IC Hub, ensuring contract accuracy and execution
  • Develop, implement and refine rigorous IC standards and monitoring processes for the IC lifecycle management in ANZ
  • Ensuring clear process flows are developed and communicated effectively within the business and all key stakeholders are managed to effectively implement the process
  • Establish and maintain responsibility framework locally that will be implemented for ICs
  • Lead / help facilitate leadership meetings to ensure country leadership is aligned and understands global ICM standards and execute same
  • Support development of communicate materials on standards and expectations for sub-IC selection/documentation to be leveraged enterprise wide
  • Manage and roll out a rigorous IC review process to ensure optimization  of performance and network
  • Continuously support business team to optimize  business opportunity through new IC channels, business targets and managing profitability.
  • Work with local MD and Franchise leads to define their strategy in terms of Go to Market and channel strategy and develop strategic plans
  • Overall responsibility for managing solid IC governance process through a rigorous internal and external IC review mechanism, ensuring optimization of IC performance and network, operating with the standards expected by Stryker.
  • Manage 1 direct report

Who are we looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Marketing, Business, Management or applicable discipline required; master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • >8 years professional commercial experience across commercial leadership, sales channel management, finance, compliance, logistics management or market access.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, strategic and tactical skills, with proved track record of analytical skills, with the ability to conceptualize, structure and develop analyses.
  • Excellent people skills including developing relationships at all levels in an organization and directly influencing business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to make effective decisions independently and to work in a challenging environment with a natural ability to perform under stress.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable.
  • Up to 30% - 50% travel may be required.

Travel Percentage: 50%
