This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial management, planning, and analysis functions for the assigned region. This position partners closely with regional business leaders and global finance teams to deliver actionable insights, drive performance, and support critical business decisions. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, sophisticated communication and presentation skill, proven leadership experience, and a deep understanding of regional business dynamics.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Support the regional FP&A head, ensuring accurate and timely financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis processes.
  • Partner with regional and global business leaders to develop, track, and achieve financial and operational goals. Partner with country leaders to define and drive KOD and strategy execution
  • Deliver comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, identify risks and opportunities, and drive business performance and EPS growth.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports, including variance analysis, key performance indicators, pool call management, CAPEX tracking, and business reviews to senior management.
  • Evaluate and appraise large and complex expenditures and financing projects, review and provide resource priority guidance and recommendations
  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and systems, promoting best practices and efficiencies. Establish and ensure effective and consistent modeling cross BU and sub-market within JAPAC region
  • Support the development and implementation of regional strategies, including new market entries, investments, and cost optimization initiatives. Translate business strategy into relevant financial targets and tactical plans and support execution in a controlled risk and reward-based manner
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial policies, controls, and regulatory requirements. Identify potential issues associated with unusual or complex transaction, review and escalate to leadership team.
  • Mentor and develop FP&A team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Adhoc Projects, for example, planning system upgrade, HC/Workforce planning process optimization, facility feasibility study, E&O mgmt.,
  • Other incidental duties

What you'll need (Required):

  • Bachelor's Degree in in Accounting or Finance , 10 years experience of previous work related experience required or
  • Master's Degree or equivalent in in Accounting or Finance , 8 years experience of previous work related experience required
  • Extensive understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, database tools, ERP systems and AI tool
  • Sold business acumen in both internal and external workings of the business. Medical Device Industry is preferred.
  • Provide leadership and direction to large cross-functional teams to implement global initiatives.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills, proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization.

What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Management Accountant (CMA) Or Chartered Accountant (CA) highly preferrable
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
  • Expert understanding of financial procedures while looking beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems
  • Ability to transfer essential knowledge and mentor other team members on specialized skills
  • Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
  • Strict attention to detail
