Job Description

Senior Manager, Communications & Social Media

So, who are we?

IG Group is a FTSE 100 fintech operating across five continents, serving over 1.4m customers and handling billions of dollars in transactions – built on scale, trust, and proof. We didn't pivot to innovation; it's how we've always operated. What that means for the people who work here is real: genuinely complex problems to solve, the technology and resources to tackle them properly, and the kind of scope that's rare in established businesses.

The bar is high – bring a curious and forward-thinking mindset and we'll give you the platform to define what comes next.

Join us at IG – the future gets built here.

Your Team

The Singapore Marketing team is responsible for driving brand awareness, customer engagement and business growth across the market. Working closely with regional and global stakeholders, the team delivers integrated marketing, communications, content and brand initiatives that strengthen IG’s reputation and position as a leading fintech and trading provider.

Your Role in the Team's Success

As Senior Manager, Communications & Social Media, you will lead IG Singapore’s external communications, public relations and social media strategy. You will be responsible for strengthening brand presence, reputation and relevance through impactful storytelling, media engagement, thought leadership, and executive communications.

Working closely with marketing, commercial and brand stakeholders, you will develop and execute integrated communications strategies that support business objectives while enhancing audience engagement and brand visibility.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and execute IG Singapore’s social media strategy, content planning and channel governance to grow brand awareness, engagement and audience relevance.
  • Build and manage external communications and PR programmes, including media relations, thought leadership, executive communications, and business announcements.
  • Develop compelling content, messaging and storytelling opportunities across social, media and external communications channels.
  • Establish performance metrics, monitor social and media effectiveness, and use insights to optimize communications strategies and campaigns.
  • Support brand reputation management and stakeholder engagement while ensuring message consistency across all external touchpoints.
  • Partner with Brand, Content, Product, Commercial and Insights teams to identify opportunities that connect customer insights with commercial and brand priorities.

What You'll Need

  • 10-15 years of experience in communications, public relations, social media, brand marketing or integrated marketing, preferably within financial services, fintech, technology or other regulated industries.
  • Proven experience developing and executing social media and communications strategies across multiple platforms and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong media relations expertise with an established network of journalists, editors and relevant media contacts across Singapore and/or APAC.
  • Excellent writing, storytelling, and content development skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial, business, or technical topics.
  • Demonstrated experience in thought leadership, executive communications, reputation management, and brand-building initiatives.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to connect communications activity to business outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

The Perks

It really is more than a job. We think like a start-up, but we deliver like a FTSE 100 — so the bar is high, and we won't pretend otherwise. We work hybrid, which means three days in the office. We’ll recognize your talent and make sure that you can still have a life – at work, and outside of it. Networks, committees, awards, sports and social clubs, mentorships, volunteering opportunities, extra time off… the list goes on.

  • Competitive salary
  • Flexible and hybrid working (2 days working from home)
  • Private medical and dental insurance for employees and eligible dependents
  • Life insurance coverage
  • Disability income protection
  • Fitness benefits, including discounted access to Platinum Fitness Raffles Place and reimbursement of up to SGD 720/year
  • Annual health check reimbursement
  • 20 days annual leave, plus public holidays, birthday leave and volunteering days
  • Option to sell or carry forward annual leave
  • Employee Share Purchase Plan
  • Employee Assistance Programme for employees and their families
  • Health and wellbeing benefits
  • Comprehensive global and local onboarding programme
  • Strong employee community and social initiatives
