Job Description: 

We’re looking for a Senior IT System Administrator to own and lead the end-to-end IT function for a fast-growing, multi-country fintech company across Asia. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, responsible for ensuring our IT systems, wi-fi network, hardware/software assets, and support scale reliably and securely as we grow.

You will lead a small, high-impact globally distributed IT team and collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Security, and Business Ops. You will shape our office and remote IT setup, enforce IT security standards, and design IT systems that support user productivity and business continuity across markets.

You will:

IT Strategy & Leadership

• Own the full IT function – from office infrastructure and security to support and user provisioning.
• Lead and grow a lean IT team, instilling operational discipline and service excellence.
• Define and manage quarterly and annual IT budgets and spending, asset lifecycles, and vendor contracts.
• Drive IT strategy, roadmap, and tool adoption across new and existing markets.
• Design and implement network and office infrastructure for new office launches.

IT Systems, Automation & Support

• Oversee Google Workspace, Slack, JIRA, and IT ticketing systems across time zones.
• Oversee the setup and maintenance of business hardware - including laptops, Audio-Video conferencing systems, and meeting room technology - across platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet.
• Automate IT workflows (e.g., user provisioning, offboarding, license management) using Google Apps Script, JQL, APIs.
• Ensure secure and scalable wi-fi network architecture, device management (MDM) of Mac and Windows devices, and access controls (RBAC)
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers (e.g., telecom, network hardware) to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.Maintain strong SLAs for IT support, with clear incident response processes.
• Provide hands-on support as needed, particularly for high-priority or escalated issues
• Collaborate with HR to streamline onboarding/offboarding with IT provisioning tools.
• Define and maintain internal IT policies, SOPs, and compliance checklists.

You are:

• 8+ years of IT systems experience, including 2+ years in a team lead or managerial role.
• Proven ability to lead IT operations in a multi-country, fast-paced environment.
• Experience designing and maintaining office network setups, VPNs, and IT security controls.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, JIRA, and scripting tools (Google Apps Script, JQL, API integration).
• Strong understanding of IAM, MDM, device lifecycle management, and IT compliance best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Mac, Windows, and hybrid AV setups (Google Meet, Teams, Zoom).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
