Your team

The IG Prime Sales Team is expanding into the Asia-Pacific region and this will be our first senior sales hire based in Singapore. The successful candidate will be a pioneer in establishing IG Prime's presence in the region and will be expected to originate and support new business opportunities across the hedge fund, family office and broker space.

Your Role in the Team's Success

Our team is responsible for driving revenues and growing IG Prime's market share across multiple geographies. As our first Singapore-based salesperson, you will be at the forefront of building our regional presence and developing our client base. You will be expected to develop relationships from initial pitch through to onboarding and ongoing servicing, working closely with our London-based team while establishing our footprint in APAC.

What you'll do

We are looking for a Prime Brokerage Salesperson to:

  • Build comprehensive knowledge of IG Prime's products and capabilities
  • Identify, develop and win new clients across the Asia-Pacific region
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders globally to ensure first-class service
  • Support and implement sales strategies to build IG's market share in APAC
  • Prepare and lead pitches with prospective new clients
  • Represent the firm at marketing events and conferences across the region
  • Develop existing client relationships to attract activity from other brokers
  • Contribute to the development of sales processes and best practices as we establish our regional presence

What you'll need for this role

  • At least 5 years' experience in an institutional sales role, ideally with Asia-Pacific market knowledge
  • An ability to confidently articulate complex financial solutions
  • Experience presenting to C-suite level
  • A drive and ambition to grow IG Prime's market share through new opportunities and existing relationships
  • A strong client focus
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work autonomously while building a new market presence
  • Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese or other Asian languages is preferred
  • Existing network within the Asia-Pacific hedge fund, family office or broker community is highly desirable
