This position is part of LSEG’s Group Travel and Administration Team, with a primary focus on delivering high-quality operational travel support to colleagues across the organization, particularly those based in the APAC region. The role involves handling travel logistics, including visa coordination across multiple categories, and collaborating closely with both internal and external partners to ensure a seamless booking experience.
Success in this role requires a keen eye for detail, strong responsiveness, and excellent stakeholder management skills to effectively support business travel needs.
Beyond day-to-day operations, the role also entails close collaboration with global business partners and travel suppliers to develop travel analytics, dashboards, and reports for senior leadership. The ideal candidate will be a calm, capable professional with a strong background in data analytics within the corporate travel sector
Key Responsibilities- Providing end-to-end travel logistics support to LSEG colleagues in APAC, from booking through to post-travel follow-up.
- Applies Global Travel & Expense Policy Guidelines to ensure compliance and mitigate breaches.
- End-to-end travel planning including flights, hotels, ground transport, and itinerary management.
- Handling last-minute changes, cancellations, and emergency travel support.
- Handling in-trip issues such as itinerary changes or extensions, especially for VIPs.
- Delivery of high-quality service to Group ExCo, Group Leaders, and VIPs.
- Supports platform functions including configuration updates, testing, and issue resolution.
- Handles routine and complex end-user queries related to travel systems.
- Develops knowledge articles and process documentation for travel and admin procedures.
- Ensures travel bookings align with company policies and regional regulations.
- Monitors geopolitical and health-related risks affecting travel.
- Collaborates with travel partners to meet requirements aligned with LSEG policies.
- Supervises travel spend and generates reports.
- Collects and interprets data from booking systems, suppliers, and internal trackers.
- Identifies cost-saving opportunities, traveler behavior patterns, and policy gaps.
- Contributes to SLA and KPI achievement, including monthly tracking of Travel & Admin metrics.
- Coordinates with HR, Finance, and Operations to align travel needs.
- Works closely with external vendors and travel agencies.
- Collaborates with internal teams and partners to ensure smooth execution and service excellence.
- Leads travel payments, invoice queries, cost reconciliation, and credit card management.
- Performs daily administrative duties related to travel operations.
- Cultivate business relationships, partnerships and alliances internally, externally and virtually with internal as well as external partners.
- Any other ad hoc tasks as may be required including sickness and holiday cover of peers where required.
- Flexibility in 24 hr shift rotations, availability for weekend “ON CALL” and dedication to work hours as required.
- 5 -7 years proven experience in an in-house corporate travel function and or corporate travel agency.
- Proficient in GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) and online booking tools (e.g., Concur).
- Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Excel.
- Deep understanding of APAC market nuances, including diverse travel regulations, visa policies, and cultural sensitivities.
- Familiarity with local supplier networks, travel vendors, and business practices across APAC countries.
- Expertise in corporate travel management and supplier networks.
- Strong grasp of fare structures, ticketing, reissues, refund policies, and duty of care.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of systems, processes, and industry trends.
- Clear and professional communication across time zones.
- Builds excellent working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- High responsiveness and compassion in traveler support.
- Discreet and thorough handling of VIP and executive travel.
- Skilled in travel systems (Concur, Egencia, SAP Travel) and Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Outlook).
- Quick thinking and resourcefulness in resolving travel-related issues.
- Proactive in anticipating traveler needs and preventing disruptions.
- Handles multiple travel requests simultaneously.
- Prioritizes urgent tasks while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
