We are seeking experienced professionals to join us as a Senior Executive, Stakeholder Engagement. The position will support the NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur), which is part of the University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E) cluster. NTUpreneur provides students with the academic rigour and immersive experiences to develop an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset as well as equip students with the necessary skillsets, tools and networks that will help them to be future-ready and be better able to thrive in an increasingly disruptive and unpredictable global environment.

The candidate will be involved in planning and executing outreach, student and alumni engagement activities, as well as creating and managing effective multimedia content marketing and communications strategies. S/he will support activities to strengthen and grow the network and partnerships, between NTUpreneur, NTU community and external stakeholders such as student clubs, alumni groups, and corporate partners. The role will have a strong communications component as outreach will leverage on social media, digital and physical and hybrid event platforms.

Responsibilities:

1) Implement outreach, student and alumni engagement activities

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver events.

  • Execute student and alumni events with a strong focus on user experience, from pre-event to post event activities.

  • Provide administration support between NTUpreneur and stakeholders, coordinate the logistics, and administrative support necessary for successful implementation.

  • Coordinate with all internal units to manage and track the I&E event calendar and report on the engagement statistics.

  • Maintain key operational databases and student mailing lists.

2) Increase awareness of NTUpreneur and its academic programmes by creating, supporting and managing communications plans developed at the Academy and programme level

  • Support the development and execution of marketing initiatives, including the production of promotional collaterals and videos.

  • Suggest and draft compelling content for websites, publicity emails, and other platforms.

  • Manage social media platforms, including content planning, scheduling, performance tracking, and analytics reporting.

  • Develop corporate gifts as part of marketing efforts, from procurement, distribution to inventory.

3) Collate content for approval and update NTUpreneur’s website and digital channels

  • Review content developed by individual departments in NTUpreneur and ensure alignment with the University’s brand guidelines. 

  • Update approved content on NTUpreneur’s website and digital channels promptly

  • Monitor the implementation of social media posts according to the calendar.

4)  Provide administrative support to the mentorship programme to ensure smooth execution and interaction meeting between mentors and students.

  • Manage mentor booking system, update and troubleshoot where required to ensure no disruptions to bookings.

  • Communicate to students and mentors on any changes and gather feedback on services.

  • Assist in working on improving the mentorship experience.

  • Manage a database of alumni and corporate volunteers based on utilization rates, mentor profile (sector, skills, location or knowledge).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Marketing preferred.

  • Experience in traditional and digital marketing, content creation, and website/social media management.

  • Experience in event management.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and plan work activities in an organised manner and work under tight timelines.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Resourceful and creative with strong communication and writing skills.
