An insurance business is founded on pooled resources and risks. We are thus obligated to ensure that all the claims are fairly assessed. Our policyholders take to the roads with the assurance of being covered by Singapore’s leading motor insurer. 

As an Executive/Senior Executive in our Motor Claims Assessment team, you will defend our policyholders by ensuring that no one takes unfair advantage of our insurance policies. When you receive a claim application, you will exercise your analytical skills to pick out potentially dubious claims, challenge their legitimacy and find means to resolve them fairly.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing if the policy is engaged and evaluate the liability against our policyholder
  • Ascertain, verify and assess the damages
  • To negotiate settlement that is in the best interest of the parties
  • To be vigilant and escalate suspicious case for further investigation
  • Liaise with our surveyors and/or lawyers to defend our position, if any

Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma holder in any field
  • Successful applicant will be required to obtain relevant insurance certifications (BCP, PGI & ComGI)
  • Candidates with insurance certifications BCP, PGI, ComGI will be preferred
  • At least 3-5 years of working experience in the motor industry in a similar capacity
  • Experience in handling motor claims with strong paralegal background will be an added advantage
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good analytical, communication and negotiation skills
