About the Role
StraitsX is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized Senior Executive, Event & Marketing Activations to drive and execute events, workshops, and brand activations across Singapore and global markets.
In this hands-on role, you will take end-to-end ownership of event logistics, vendor partnerships, on-ground execution, and StraitsX’s global swag strategy.
What You Will Do- Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing activations, including industry conferences, co-hosted partner events, and in-house workshops/online sessions.
- Own StraitsX’s global swag strategy end-to-end, from ideation, vendor sourcing, and cost negotiations to production, inventory management, and regional distribution.
- Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venue negotiation, vendor briefs, production timelines, shipping, and hands-on, on-site coordination.
- Work closely with cross-functional internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution.
Identify operational risks, detail gaps, and timeline bottlenecks early, implementing solutions independently ahead of execution. - Support activations across Singapore and international markets; occasional regional travel may be required.
- 2–3 years of experience in event marketing, marketing activations, or event project management.
- Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese to support global and China-market events
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple event timelines and concurrent workstreams.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for managing vendor relationships and aligning with cross-functional teams.
- Resourceful and proactive attitude with the ability to manage tasks independently and track execution details accurately.
- Hands-on experience with Chinese sourcing platforms (e.g., 1688, Taobao) and creative instincts for experiential activations or non-traditional swag.
- Experience setting up, hosting, or supporting virtual events, webinars, or live audio formats (e.g., X/Twitter Spaces, Zoom webinars).
