[What the role is]
The Warehousing and Tech Department under the Logistics and Mobility Division leads Singapore's warehouse transformation initiative. The team will do these through targeting 100 transformative projects by 2028, and by developing automation solution packages through strategic partnerships with vendors. The team is expected to work closely with industry partners and other government agencies to implement policy changes and scale warehouse automation adoption across Singapore's logistics sector.[What you will be working on]
- Engage and transform warehouses across sectors to operate in more manpower and land-efficient ways
- Identify, develop, and manage capabilities with partner solution vendors and develop automation solution packages
- Groom key supply chain technology partners
- Develop partnership plans with industry partners
- Benchmark warehousing productivity standards across Singapore
[What we are looking for]
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related discipline
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, logistics transformation, or technology implementation
- Strong interest in warehouse automation technologies and supply chain management
- Experience in stakeholder management and partnership development with technology vendors
- Knowledge of government grant schemes and policy implementation processes
- Proven track record in project management and business development
- Strong analytical skills with ability to benchmark and measure productivity improvements
- Experience working with government agencies and industry partners
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging senior stakeholders
- Understanding of Singapore's logistics and warehousing landscape (advantageous)
