Senior Corporate Communications Executive

The Senior Corporate Communications Executive reports to the Head of Corporate Communications, and is responsible for driving excellence in corporate communications for RSIS, in areas such as digital content and strategy, branding, and publicity, alongside other adjacent areas such as corporate merchandise, videography and photography. Applicants who possess additional necessary skillsets and longer relevant working experience may be considered for a higher appointment at Assistant Manager.

This includes the following areas:

  • Design and execute digital communications strategies across digital media, to build brand awareness/branding, which includes conceptualising short-term and long-haul plans to increase the branding and reputation of RSIS;
  • Create, edit, and publish digital content (e.g. social media visuals and graphics, photos, videos, podcasts, etc.) across RSIS social media channels and website;
  • Managing and working alongside external contracted vendors, and assist in corporate photography and videography on an as-needed basis;
  • Manage the repository of photos and videos for archival purposes through documentation and categorisation, and assist in retrieval of material as and when required;
  • Manage the inventory and sales of RSIS corporate merchandise, including the production of one-off merchandise for special occasions;
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage RSIS branding;
  • Assist in production of RSIS publications such as the annual review and newsletters.

Requirements

  • A relevant Bachelor’s degree in areas such as mass communications, journalism, art and design, digital marketing, etc.;
  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, in areas such as social media, public relations, digital communications, and/or digital marketing. Prior experience in digital agencies and publication houses will be advantageous;
  • Prior experience in strategic-level digital communications, such as storyboarding videos, designing communications campaigns for evergreen publicity and crisis management, and identifying emerging trends and new best practices for social media;
  • Prior experience in event photography and videography, including the ability to conceptualise a storyboard and shoot and edit short-format reels for social media, is highly preferred;
  • Strong application with popular social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.), including understanding social media metrics and being able to interpret analytics to increase effectiveness of RSIS digital strategy;
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills, with the ability to oversee and/or manage multiple projects
  • Versatile team-player who is able to collaborate with other departments to achieve desired outcomes
