Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Strategy team at Marsh Risk in our Singapore office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Reporting to the Strategy Leader, Asia, the Senior Business Transformation & Strategy Manager serves as the bridge between strategy planning/analysis and operational execution. This role is responsible for translating strategic priorities into structured, actionable transformation initiatives and driving them through implementation.

Using a blend of program and project management discipline, process design, and change management principles, the role holder ensures complex, cross-functional initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable business impact. This is an execution-focused role requiring a hands-on senior individual contributor who can navigate ambiguity, align senior stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and drive initiatives through to completion.

We will count on you to:

Strategy Operationalization & Execution

  • Translate strategic priorities and business objectives into detailed execution roadmaps, including milestones, resource requirements, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of complex, high-visibility transformation initiatives to deliver defined business outcomes on time and within budget.
  • Establish governance, reporting, and tracking mechanisms to monitor progress, resource utilization, risks, dependencies, and financial performance.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for execution roadblocks, proactively identifying risks, scope creep, and bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions to keep initiatives on track.
  • Manage interdependencies across initiatives and ensure alignment with broader business priorities and plans.

Business Transformation & Change

  • Lead process diagnostic reviews, current-state assessments, and future-state design efforts to improve business performance and operational effectiveness.
  • Apply structured change management approaches to support adoption, stakeholder engagement, and sustained behavioral change.
  • Define, track, and report value-realization metrics, including financial, operational, and customer impact measures.
  • Support the development and maintenance of business cases, ensuring assumptions, benefits, and delivery milestones remain valid throughout execution.

Stakeholder Alignment & Leadership

  • Partner closely with business leaders and senior stakeholders to align priorities, resolve trade-offs, and secure cross-functional commitment and resources.
  • Translate complex program data into clear, executive-ready updates, recommendations, and decision materials.
  • Build trusted relationships across teams and functions to drive collaboration and momentum in a matrixed environment.
  • Provide informal leadership, coaching, and guidance to project team members and workstream leads to promote strong execution discipline and continuous improvement.

What you need to have:

  • At least 10 years of relevant, progressive experience in business transformation, strategy execution, program management, consulting, or operational improvement.
  • Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional, multi-workstream initiatives with significant organizational impact.
  • Experience working in regional or global matrixed organizations and influencing senior stakeholders across functions.
  • Strong program/project management, problem-solving, and structured execution skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and simplify complex issues.
  • Experience in change management, process improvement, and benefits realization.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

What makes you stand out:

  • Experience in professional services, financial services, insurance, or consulting environments.
  • Familiarity with program/project management or change methodologies such as PMP, MSP, PRINCE2, Agile, Prosci, or Lean/Six Sigma.
  • Experience supporting operating model redesign, governance design, or enterprise transformation initiatives.

Why join our team:

  • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.
  • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.
  • Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.
