As a Senior Associate, you will play an active role in evaluating and executing investment opportunities across Vena Group's renewable energy and data center platforms throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

You will conduct comprehensive due diligence, perform in-depth market and project research, develop and review detailed financial models, and assess investment returns under various scenarios. This includes analyzing the impact of key value drivers such as macroeconomic trends, financing structures, regulatory frameworks, development assumptions, operational performance, and project-specific risks.

You will support the full investment lifecycle, from opportunity screening and due diligence through investment analysis, debt financing, transaction execution, and negotiation of commercial and financing agreements. Beyond transaction close, you will remain actively involved in portfolio management activities, including monitoring asset performance, evaluating value-creation opportunities, preparing internal valuations, supporting refinancing and financing initiatives, and tracking overall investment performance to drive long-term value creation.

Responsibilities

  • Take an active role in evaluating new investment opportunities, ranging from market assessment and competitive positioning to initial underwriting and deal structuring.

  • Support due diligence efforts on prospective deals, including business diligence, risk assessment, and the management of external advisors.

  • Build robust and flexible financial models to support investment underwriting and deal structuring efforts.

  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support transaction negotiations and investment decision-making.

  • Provide hands-on support to portfolio companies to help drive performance and value creation.

  • Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with an outstanding academic record from a top-tier university.

  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in investment management

  • Strong grounding in finance and, economics

  • Advanced financial modeling and accounting capabilities, coupled with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Passion for renewable energy, energy transition, and sustainable infrastructure investments.

  • Highly entrepreneurial self-starter with strong business acumen, intellectual curiosity, a drive for excellence, creativity, adaptability, and the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
