Job Description
Checkout.com's Treasury department is looking for a hands-on professional who can provide expert support and report to the Regional Treasury Manager - APAC, having a proven track record to work with minimal day to day supervision. This role will be based in Singapore.
The successful candidate will need to be an independent, diligent individual, able to stand out in an entrepreneurial environment. This role is an excellent opportunity to further improve existing knowledge and skills around payments and operational finance within a team with wide-ranging responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8-10 years of Treasury experience
- An understanding of liquidity risks and experience in Liquidity Risk management
- Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including either banking or EMI/PI/ Merchant Acquiring regulations and an ability to understand Prudential Treasury requirements and translate them for implementation
- Experience in Treasury Markets/ Cash Management and Fx
Additional Information
Liquidity Risk Management:
- Support Checkout.com in all aspects of the day to day monitoring, analysis and management of the legal entities and regional liquidity positions
- Develop a strong understanding of current business model and payment flows, to help identify liquidity risks and contribute to design and implementation of the appropriate safeguarding, liquidity and funding management framework
- Develop basic models, undertake forecasting and execute on liquidity management strategies, procedures and controls to mitigate and manage these risks
- Design and utilise daily liquidity MI reports to assess liquidity position
- Assist in the execution of liquidity management and hedging strategies, including management of intra-group funding and liquid assets
Prudential Risks Management and Governance:
- Helping with the preparation and implementation of policies and procedures / processes for appropriate governance on Prudential Treasury topics including Capital Management & Safeguarding.
- Helping with coordination and preparation of materials for legal entity Asset Liability Committee (ALCO), preparation of Treasury Board pack from time to time.
Financial Risks Management:
- Have a good understanding of FX and manage day to day FX requirements for the region (including FX execution)
Stakeholder / Project Management:
- Collaborating closely with our external partners (eg: banks) for day to day Fx and Cash Management
- Working and collaborating with multiple teams across the organization (viz. Commercial, Product, Legal, Compliance, Accounting, etc) to ensure seamless product launches and operational readiness
- Ad hoc projects / tasks, as required
