We are currently recruiting for Associate Director – Mechanical to join our Building Services team with broad experience in healthcare, commercial and mixed-development projects. This position will be based in our Singapore Office and reporting to General Manager, Built Form – Singapore.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible to:
- Deliver operational excellence through the leadership and management of large-scale, complex mechanical projects and multi-job portfolios.
- Lead the development and delivery of robust, practical, and commercially viable mechanical solutions in accordance with project and client objectives.
- Provide technical governance and assurance, including review of designs, calculations, BIM outputs, and overall technical outcomes.
- Champion BIM and digital engineering initiatives, driving automation and productivity improvements across the construction lifecycle.
- Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, ensuring high standards of technical quality, programme delivery, and knowledge sharing.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, building credibility and respect with clients through sound judgement and depth of expertise.
- Develop a strong understanding of client businesses and strategic drivers to deliver successful outcomes and support repeat and follow-on work.
- Manage and mitigate project risk through effective audit, commercial, and financial management practices.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders through clear presentations, reports, and professional representation.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 10 years in an engineering consultancy environment, including leadership or supervisory roles.
- Strong background in HVAC and building services coordination, with experience across healthcare, commercial, hospitality, industrial, and education sectors.
- Certified Professional Engineer by PEB, Singapore will be an advantage
- Demonstrated depth of technical capability and practical application of mechanical engineering principles.
- A client-focused, delivery-oriented leadership style with a strong commitment to quality and outcomes.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and take initiative at a senior level.
