About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accounts Executive to manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations in our global tech office. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and finance operation expertise, experience with international transactions, and the ability to streamline financial processes across multiple entities and currencies.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with corporate and statutory requirements in a dynamic, fast-growing global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Manage the end-to-end AP cycle, including invoice receipt, verification, payment processing, and vendor/bank reconciliations.
  • AP ageing review, ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers across multiple currencies and regions.
  • Cashflow forecast review to support liquidity management
  • Review and reconcile employee expense claims in line with company policies.
  • Corporate cards processing and reconciliation in line with company policies
  • Maintain vendor master data with proper documentation and approvals.
  • Support process improvements to enhance payment automation and efficiency.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Prepare and issue accurate invoices, credit notes, and refunds promptly.
  • Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and reconcile incoming payments and refunds.
  • Manage related-party transactions, including intercompany invoicing and cost recharges.
  • Process receipts from various payment channels (ACH, Direct Debit, GIRO, credit cards, cheques, cash) and ensure accurate ERP postings.

General Accounting & Reporting:

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including AP/AR accruals and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, local regulations, and IFRS/GAAP.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., bankers, auditors, tax agents).

Any other tasks as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in AP and AR within a multinational or tech company.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, intercompany transactions, and multi-currency operations.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Workday).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, meticulous, and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude and proactive behaviour
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across global teams.
  • Strong Excel, data analysis skills; experience with automation tools is a plus.
  • Independent work capability
