Job Description
This is an impactful people manager role that plays a central part in enhancing crew performance, driving business success, and shaping Scoot's unique culture. You will be a champion for applying organizational development research, utilizing your expertise in talent development, behaviour change models, and facilitation skills to achieve the following key objectives:
Talent Development and Organizational Growth
Collaborate with business leaders and HRBPs to assess organizational learning needs, address skill gaps, and ensure alignment with the company’s long-term strategy.
Assist in designing and implementing holistic talent development programs that cover leadership, organizational growth, and change management to support both current and future business needs.
Leverage digital learning platforms and emerging technologies to offer personalized, flexible learning experiences that promote continuous development.
Develop career pathways and competency frameworks to support talent mobility and build a digital-ready, adaptive workforce through a skills-based strategy.
Streamline learning processes, policies, and governance to optimize efficiency, including leveraging government funding or skills development schemes for cost-effective solutions.
Evaluate and collaborate with external training providers to deliver relevant, high-impact learning experiences for employees.
Growth Mindset and Learning Organisation
Play a key role in driving a growth mindset and fostering a learning organization.
- Diagnose and design a change management plan to drive an growth, and learning culture.
- Implement research-backed learning initiatives and habit-building strategies to help employees learn in the flow of work, as well as create coherent and “sticky” learning experiences within Scoot.
Support change management initiatives that facilitate organizational transformation, focusing on cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
Utilize data-driven insights to assess and enhance the effectiveness of development programs, ensuring they align with Scoot’s strategic goals.
Foster a vibrant learning culture by sparking employee interest in development opportunities, cultivating learning habits, and ensuring clear communication of training initiatives.
Leadership and Talent Development
Partner with business leaders, HRBPs, and the People Science team to support long-term talent strategies, including developing a strong talent pipeline for critical roles.
Provide strategic recommendations for organizational capability improvements based on workforce analysis and insights, helping to future-proof the talent landscape.
Focus on developing leadership capabilities to navigate today’s complex, evolving work environments.
Strengthen Scoot's Culture and Peformance
Conceptualize and implement habit-building strategies by leveraging scientific principles and research to design effective behaviour change interventions to translate desired culture into shared everyday habits.
Diagnose and design a change management plan to drive an agile and innovative culture, including partnering with stakeholders and leaders to develop an innovation framework based on research on successful innovation models and best practices, and understanding of internal barriers and facilitators for innovation within Scoot.
Develop and facilitate engaging team and cross-team effectiveness programs that build trust, empathy, communication, and enhance performance.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
8-10 years of experience in talent development, organizational development, or change management, ideally within the aviation or a similar industry.
A proven track record of supporting talent development initiatives and driving organizational change.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in stakeholder management across all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in leveraging data analytics to inform strategic decisions and personalize learning experiences.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, result-driven environment and successfully manage multiple priorities.
