Job Objectives

  • Act as Process Owner Delegate (POD) for Logistics (Warehousing Inbound/Outbound) focusing on APAC (Singapore, Dubai, and contributing for China), in close collaboration with our local and global Logistics Operations
  • Define and Design Logistics Processes mainly for APAC, and support global

  • Design physical flows respecting handling, considering efficiency/effectivity for manual and automated handling

  • Drive transformation by leading workpackages for logistics related projects

  • Be a member of a network of global logistics PODs located in Hamburg, Copenhagen and Dulles

Job Responsibilities

  • POD (Process Owner Delegate) Responsibility for Logistics 

    • Represent APAC in the global Process Definition

    • Responsible to define requirements and perform User Acceptance test representing warehouse, validate changes for APAC region

    • Lead “process design”-workpackages in logistics projects, which includes process design including IT requirements definition, implementation, user acceptance testing of IT solution, training of users/operators

    • POD of contact for APAC region: Singapore, Dubai plus contributing for China

    • Stakeholder Management with the linked functions (COH, Quality, Planning/SC, PM, Repair)

    • Facilitate collaboration with Process Specialists in determining areas for change to drive improvements

  • Responsible to develop/maintain Satair process referentials to ensure a compliant documentation of our processes (in compliance with Business Management System (BMS) and Company Management System (CMS))

  • Define and perform process-related trainings for warehouses in APAC

  • Define and test logistics solutions in digital tools (SAP and other)

  • Integrate automation technologies with our digital toolsets

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Support HO Logistic Operations (SIN), Warehouse Managers APAC and global with adhoc recurring issue analysis, applying data analysis or process check 

  • Adhoc support to operational issues as a “level 3”

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics / Business Administration / Computer Science / Industrial Engineering or similar

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in Logistics or Supply Chain

  • Experience in SAP (WM/EWM) would be advantageous

  • Digital Experience (Digital Toolsets, IT)

  • Experience in Aviation industry would be preferred but not mandatory

  • Experience in Process Management would be preferred but not mandatory

  • Strong team player 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Ability to work in an international environment

  • Good analytical skills; ability to see the bigger picture

  • Ability to execute and drive change

  • Intercultural understanding

  • Strong stakeholder management
